Automated Dashboards and Project Reports Are Here! 🚀🚀🚀

We are excited to announce a new way to automate dashboards, project reports and database reports.

Many of you are using Central Desktop databases to track project status and are sending the report to a customer, a partner, a manager, an investor, a board of directors, a research team or to your entire company.  Until today, refreshing a dashboard or a report was a manual process that took hours to update.  It usually involved exporting data and reimporting it into Excel, Power BI, Tableau or another BI tool.  

Today, we are excited to announce the ability to publish data exports as a URL (from database views and reports). This new feature will make it easier to auto-update a dashboard or a report in another BI tool to share with your stakeholders.  No more bulky email attachments or complicated file transfers.

Now, you can simply generate a URL for any report or database view and share the URL with your team or a secondary data platform.  

Common Use Cases:

-Create Excel reports from your database views that refresh daily.

-Export your project management reports into a visual reporting tool

-Combine Central Desktop data with other data (financial, product usage, metrics, etc.) to create powerful reports and dashboards that can be shared.
